The directions on the Stone Island postings work great. If you want to go to El Cid, hire a taxi at the port or find a time share to take you there (I don't do the time share thing myself but others have and had no problems). Hire a tender at port (after negotiating of course and yes there are a lot of them) and you will be just fine. If you are dead set on snorkling, have the tender take you over to Chileno bay as well.

I did several European Cruise tours with Sandras Tours. Sandra O'Leary had the worst planned cruise tours I have ever been on. Many missed the whale watching because the boat left 30 minutes before scheduled. The Iceland tours had the worst tour guides ever. I really didn't care about the tour guides 7 kids by 7 fathers or her trouble with alcohol. I really wish I had learned more about the country than the guides personal life.
